All public areas of the museum are wheelchair accessible. The reception begins at the entrance to the museum, with priority to expectant mothers and / or with small children and the availability of a parking area for strollers and baby carriers toiletries. The space dedicated to the Happy Popping, is located on level -1, next to the educational workshop and not far from the bathroom with a changing table. Here mothers and children will find a relaxation area, equipped with mats and a small house to measure child, car seat for the baby food and a chair to breastfeed. The Museo del Novecento is Family Friendly for the presence of a guide to the museum designed and built for children, captions height child, language learning activities, such as guided tours and workshops addressed to schools, from childhood to secondary school degree, or directly to families.

Guided Tours

Audio Guides Storyville

Radio Guides

For groups of 10 people, with their own guide, the use of radio guides is mandatory. Radio guides can be hired in the museum at the price of € 30 for school groups and € 50 for other groups.


Tourist MuseumCard  BUY ONLINE

The new official card issued by the City of Milan. It gives you unlimited access to a number of Museums of Milan (only to their permanent collections), and discounts on other city events and attractions. On sale at the museum’s ticket offices or on line (12 €).

The Lombardy Milan Museums Subscription  BUY ONLINE

The Lombardy Milan Museums Subscription is the card that allows access, for one year from the date of purchase, to cultural sites of Lombardy involved in the project (museums, archaeological sites, villas, gardens and castles, permanent and temporary collections). The card is on sale with the following rates: Whole (27 to 64 years old) 45 €, Junior (6-14 years old): 20 €, Young (15-26 years old): 30 €, Senior (over 65 years old): 35 €. On sale at the Museo del Novecento and online.



With entrance available from both inside and outside the Museum, the Electa Mondadori bookshop overlooking the Duomo square offers a wide selection of titles devoted to the world of art from Italian and international publishers, art objects and multimedia products. Bookshop hours are the same as museum hours.

Open seven days a week from noon to midnight, Giacomo all’Arengario is an alternating array of art deco inspired rooms. The alfresco area opens onto the loggia with a panorama that embraces the Duomo. The perfect place for lunch, a cocktail or dinner, the restaurant proposes traditional dishes and restyled Milanese classic recipes.
