ACACIA

The Museo del Novecento and ACACIA (Friends of Italian Contemporary Art Association) present a focus devoted to the artist Tatiana Trouvè. On display the work “I Tempi doppi” [Double Times] (2013), belonging to the ACACIA Collection, which was generously donated by the Association to the Museo del Novecento in 2015, together with Studies for Desire Lines (2012-2015), from a private collection. Trouvè’s work focuses on exploring the relationship between space and time, through installations and paper works. Her works can be read as a reservoir of memory and expanded time, being at the same time drawings of unknown architectures in which, as for the artist’s words “thoughts [become] plastic creatures”.
